DSSSE is a small group of people with big interest in structural science and engineering, who have a belief in that knowledge sharing, reflection and discussion is the keywords for a bigger comprehension for the companies in new studies.<\/p>\n

About Lars:<\/span>
\nCurrently Lars is responsible for the graduate degree programme in architectural engineering plus he is group leader of the research group on Structural Analysis and Concrete Structures both at Aarhus University. Besides that, Lars has since 2021 worked for Value Engineering as a structural engineer.
\nIn 2000 Lars completed his PhD as a commercial researcher. Furthermore he has approximately ten years of experience from Ramboll, Cowi, Birch & Krogboe (now Niras), where he worked as a consultant engineer and specialist leader<\/p>\n

About Jakob:<\/span>
\nJakob is currently a Senior Specialist at Danish Technological Institute, where he is specialising in Masonry. Before that he worked at Danish consultancy companies such as Ramb\u00f8ll and COWI.\u00a0 He finished a PhD from Aarhus University under the supervision of Lars German Hagsten, with focus on shear reinforcement in concrete structures.<\/p>\n

About Thomas:<\/span>
\nIn 2021, Thomas finished his PhD degree from Aarhus University.
\nThe pupose of the PhD were to find a more accurate measurement system to detect breaking waves and their associated loads offshore.
\nHe continues to investigate this as a Post Doc at the same Department.<\/p>\n
